About the role
Project Manager (Cold Form Structural Engineering) (REMOTE) - Full TimeLocation: Miami FLWhat you will be doing:Organize and manage structural design efforts for multiple simultaneous projects while maintaining project budgets. Manage and review structural engineering drawings for assigned projects/work assignments including the preparation of plans, schedules and details.Review structural systems of primarily cold-formed steel framing for a variety of healthcare, commercial, retail, multi-family residential, industrial and institutional buildings nationwide and review Structural calculations for submittal.Manage Engineers and CAD/BIM Technicians to produce shop drawings, calculations and BIM modelsAssist with training and mentoring team membersCommunicate with clients and maintain project schedules and design budgetsHelp lead business development efforts for cold-formed projects to develop and manage a portfolio of clientsPerform and lead the structural design of various building design projects. This includes development of structural design documents, calculations, and specifications.Perform construction administration duties.Experience you will need:Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering.Minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in structural design of cold-formed steel building structures.
