Role Description: The Project Manager at Studio Santo will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple creative and client-facing projects. Experience is a must in lighting, video and audio. This full-time, on-site role in New York, NY involves managing timelines, budgets, scopes, and resources while maintaining alignment with client objectives and internal capabilities. On a day-to-day basis, the Project Manager will coordinate schedules, run status meetings, track progress, and proactively identify and resolve risks or blockers. The role includes serving as a primary point of contact for clients, preparing project documentation, and ensuring clear communication between multidisciplinary internal teams. The Project Manager will also support process improvement, help define best practices, and contribute to a positive, collaborative studio culture.
Qualifications: Strong project planning, scheduling, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment. Demonstrated client management and communication skills, including running meetings, setting expectations, and providing clear, timely updates to internal and external stakeholders. Experience coordinating cross-functional creative or design teams, with an understanding of common workflows in studios, agencies, or similar environments. Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Vectorworks, Excel, Google Workspace, or similar platforms).Strong problem-solving, risk management, and decision-making abilities, with a focus on maintaining quality, budget, and timeline goals. Attention to detail in project documentation, including briefs, statements of work, timelines, budgets, and status reports. Ability to work on-site in New York, NY and collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients from diverse backgrounds and disciplines. Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Communications, Design Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Previous experience (typically 3+ years) in a project management role within a creative studio, design firm, marketing agency, or similar setting is strongly preferred.
