Shift Hours: 6:45am-7:15pm, EOWTravel rate: $25/hr (taxable) + $1,509.83/week (travel reimbursement) = $2409/week gross pay
Job Description: A professional nurse is an individual accountable for the care of a group of patients. The Registered Nurse (RN) focuses on safe effective patient and family centred care, customer satisfaction and quality outcomes. The RN is responsible for assisting in maintaining a financially stable unit, promoting his/her own development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education supported by a Practice Governance framework.
Responsibilities: Performs assessments & reassessments per policy & procedure or as warranted by patient condition; demonstrates ability to make sound independent decisions. Initiates, prioritizes and implements the plan of care and reviews and revises the plan as indicated. Collaborates with patient/family & interdisciplinary services; utilizes resources appropriately to support the needs of the organization/patient/family. Monitors and documents response to clinical interventions. Facilitates/coordinates/provides/evaluates education specific to patient/family needs and as appropriate to the care, treatment and services provided during their stay and at discharge. Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel; functions as a mentor/preceptor.
Experience: 2 years of acute care RN experience
Skillsets: Epic experience
Education: Nursing Diploma. ORAssociate’s degree (ASN).
