About the role

American Equipment Service is a family-owned small business looking for a reliable, motivated, and organized Administrator to join our team. We take pride in the small-business tradition of putting customer service, teamwork, and doing things the right way first. This is a hands-on position with a variety of responsibilities. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with people, is willing to learn, pays close attention to detail, and can confidently manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do:
  • Enter and process vendor invoices Create customer invoices Assist with Payroll duties
  • Receive and record customer payments Keep track of A/P and A/RVerify billing information for accuracy
  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls
  • Provide friendly, professional service to customers
  • Assist customers with questions and general requests
  • Greet and direct walk-in customers to the appropriate department or team member
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date customer files and paperwork
  • Assist with marketing and online activities
  • Purchase office supplies as needed
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming showroom
  • Assist other departments and team members as needed

  • Ability to learn new processes and computer systems
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
  • Dependable, hardworking, and willing to be part of a team
  • Previous administrative, customer service, parts, or dealership experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person
  • Agricultural or equipment industry experience is helpful, but not required
