Job Description: GTIis hiring three (3) experienced Field Service Engineers to support semiconductor metrology equipment in Fishkill, New York. We are looking for hands-on semiconductor equipment professionals who can troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, maintain, calibrate, and return production-critical tools to service. This is not an entry-level position. Direct semiconductor equipment experience is required.
What You’ll Do: Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures Repair equipment and restore tools to production Replace failed parts, components, and assemblies Perform equipment calibration, alignment, and verification Support tool uptime, reliability, and performance Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, vacuum, robotics, motion-control, and wafer-handling systems Perform equipment installations, upgrades, and qualifications as needed Identify root causes and implement corrective actions Document service activity, repairs, parts usage, and technical findings Provide direct technical support to customers Work independently and take ownership of equipment issues through resolution What We’re Looking For 2+ years of hands-on semiconductor equipment experience Field Service Engineer, Customer Engineer, Equipment Engineer, Equipment Technician, or comparable semiconductor equipment background Strong equipment troubleshooting and fault-isolation skills Experience performing PMs, CMs, repairs, calibration, and parts replacement Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics Experience with vacuum, robotics, wafer handling, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems Ability to work independently in a semiconductor cleanroom environment Strong customer communication and technical documentation skillsCD-SEM, DR-SEM, SEM, e-beam, metrology, or defect review equipment experience is highly desirable. Primary Work Location: Fishkill, New York Selected candidates will complete approximately 2–3 weeks of initial training at GTI headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizonabefore beginning work in Fishkill.
