About the role
- Five Stones Research Corporation (5SRC) is seeking energetic candidates to join our established and growing Huntsville-headquartered team. THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD.Essential Functions
- Directs, operates, maintains, and repairs engineering systems that provide essential building services for a DoD facility.
- Oversees mechanical systems, HVAC and refrigeration, electrical systems, UPS systems, water treatment, roofing, steam heating, plumbing, and fire suppression/detection systems.
- Performs diagnostics, real-time systems management, and anomaly response to ensure proper system performance and efficiency.
- Directs and performs maintenance on building systems and their components.
- Supports engineering review board processes, including DDR, PDR, and implementation readiness reviews for minor infrastructure and discrete projects.
- Develops component-level architecture and preliminary design solutions (approximately 65 percent) and progresses them to detailed design solutions (100 percent) across architectural, electrical, mechanical, security, and IT domains to support project execution.
