Compensation RangeAnnual Salary: $112,000.00 - $203,750.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)About This JobThe main purpose of this job is to directly solicit companies with revenues between $10MM and $2 Billion for general industry equipment finance and leasing opportunities in the assigned territory.Essential FunctionsPrimarily involved in calling activities with assigned customers and targeted prospects with the objective to acquire new businessServe as the primary advisor for an assigned portfolio of diverse and complex commercial relationships, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and retentionCoordinate with product partners to cross-sell a full range of products and servicesCritically review and analyze portfolios to reduce risk and enhance profitabilityFacilitate credit requests, including loan structuring, negotiating/pricing, collateral, ensuring adequate loan documentation, and analyze industry/credit riskFacilitate the resolution of customer problems and engage product expertsParticipate in community and business functions/groups to establish referral contacts within the marketplaceEnsure compliance with all bank policies, procedures, regulations, and lawsPerform other duties as assignedKnowledge, Skills & Abilities RequiredBasic knowledge of single investor tax, loans, TRAC, operating, synthetic, and debt transactionsBasic knowledge of commercial products, credit policies and procedures and terminologyWell-developed sales and negotiation skillsBasic credit analysis skillsAbility to structure more complex credit requestsAbility to maintain a valid driver's license and meet Commerce Bank's driving record criteria; ongoing employment may be contingent upon meeting all driving requirementsMotivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple prioritiesInquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core ValuesBasic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent combination of education and experience required1+ years of sales experience in the banking industry required, specifically within equipment lease origination Experience with tax-exempt products preferredFor this position, Commerce Bank will review your motor vehicle driving record. The disclosed range estimate has been adjusted for any applicable differentials (geographic, bilingual, or shift) that could be associated with the position or where it is filled. At Commerce, compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each situation. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $112,000 to $203,750 annually.
