Job Description: Job Description We are a small, family-run telecommunications company seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team. This role involves installing low-voltage cabling, fiber optic cables, and telecommunications equipment in various commercial and industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities: Install, terminate, and test low-voltage cables and fiber optic systems. Set up and maintain telecommunications equipment such as switches, routers, and other network hardware. Troubleshoot and repair connectivity issues. Ensure installations meet industry standards and safety regulations. Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time and within budget. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools and vehicles.
Qualifications: Previous experience with low-voltage cabling and/or fiber installation is a plus but not required. Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Basic understanding of telecommunications and networking systems is preferred. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical ability to climb ladders, lift heavy equipment, and work in tight spaces. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
