Job Description: Survival Flight is currently accepting resumes for a full‑time Meteorologist/Air Communications Specialist position in Columbia, TN. Survival Flight is a premier emergency medical transportation company dedicated to the quality of care to our patients and their safety with medical transportation. The Meteorologist/Air Communications Specialist is responsible for receiving, coordinating, and following through to conclusion all requests for Survival Flight by following established protocols and procedures. Schedule consists of 12 hour shifts working 3 days on 4 days off, then 4 days on 3 days off.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, or similar Previous medical dispatching experience Two‑way radio proficiency Effective communication and public speaking skills Strong ability to multi‑task and think critically under stressful situations Weather reporting Risk analysis Monitor progress of flight
