Design and Project Coordinator

Job DescriptionWith Custom Home Medic, you will support and assist Senior Designers in all aspects of developing and managing residential and light commercial projects across the Carmel area. This opportunity will expose you to all facets of Interior Design including:AutoCAD and Chief Architect DetailingAssist with Space Planning, Shop Drawings and Architectural DetailingAssist with Lighting, Fabric and Furniture selectionsAssist with Installation of Projects all over the city of Indianapolis.Analyzing blue printsPerform field surveys and measurements for designsContact prospective clientsPreparing accurate labor and material takeoff quantities, including bid documents and proposals in compliance with project specificationsMonitoring past bid results to maximize contracts obtainedReviewing contracts for compliance with proposalsWork closely with other estimators, field superintendents and installation managers to insure contract profitabilityEducation and ExperienceBachelors Degree in Interior DesignAuto CAD, MicroSoft Office, Chief ArchitectEntry Level or aboveStrong Organizational Skills and Attention to Details.Key Competencies:Decision making skillsPlanning and organizingTime management skillsAttention to detail and high level of accuracyTeamwork and collaborationVery effective organizational skillsSkills in complex problem solving, judgment, critical thinking, and decision makingAbility to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problemsAbility to maintain self-motivation and to work independently and in team environmentsAble to pass full criminal background check and drug screen.Enjoy working on a variety of projects with new challenges every day.
