Job Description
Please note: This is a Monday-Friday schedule with rotating Saturday morning coverage required. As a Small Engine/Lawn & Garden Mechanic, your more typical responsibilities will include: Pre-deliver, inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair lawn, garden, and handheld equipment. Order parts and prepare repair estimates. Prepare accurate inspection and service reports and maintain other records as required. Complete jobs and repair estimates. Keep work areas clean and orderly. Work in a safe manner. Comply with company policies and government regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Include: Currently seeking an EXPERIENCED mechanic/technicianwith 2 or more years mechanic experience working on equipment, preferably lawn/garden, handheld, small engine equipment. Stihl certification or comparable is preferred. Technical or vocational degree in mechanical field strongly preferred. Strong communication skills. Willingness to learn. Basic math skills and recent computer skills required, with experience in similar systems (CDK, work order systems, etc) highly preferred.\nCompany
