Locum tenens opportunity in Wisconsin covering a community ED/urgent care. Initial coverage: November 25-27, 2026.
Shift details:
12.5-hour day shifts, 6:00 AM-6:30 PM. Additional locum shifts anticipated throughout 2027.Clinical environmentED/urgent care combined unit, average volume 40-60 patients per 24 hoursSupported by 2 advanced practice clinicians; physicians provide daytime through evening coverageGeneral surgery and orthopedic support availableCollaborative hospitalist team onsiteTelestroke and Tele-ICU servicesUW helicopter onsite for transport/supportKey points12.5-hour day shiftsModerate patient volume with strong APC supportMultiple specialty and telemedicine resourcesLocated near Madison and Wisconsin DellsOngoing locum opportunities expected in 2027
Ideal candidate:
Board-certified or eligible Emergency Medicine physicianComfortable practicing in a community ED/urgent care with APC collaboration and telemedicine/specialty backup
