Job Description: Job Description Diesel Truck Mechanic / Technician

Job Summary: Double J Transport is looking to add an experienced full-time diesel mechanic to our team! We maintain and repair 230 trucks out of our Jackson WI terminal, primary late model Freightliner Cascadia trucks. Double J takes pride in our shop by providing a safe, clean, and modern facility to work in.

Duties: Perform basic PM and DOT inspections on late model equipment. Replace wear components as part of our extensive PM program including filters, radiators, water pumps, DEF pumps, brake chambers, starters, ect. Diagnose and repair engine and ABS fault codes. Become part of our professional, experienced, and safe team!

Qualifications: An ideal candidate would have 5+ years experience working on heavy duty trucks, equipment, and / or diesel engines. Willing to train the right individual. CDL or willingness to obtain is preferred but not required. Pay $30.00-$40.00 per hour
