Project Manager EngineerJOB SUMMARYThe position is broadly responsible for the development andimplementation of engineered industrial gas application solutions for customersin the Food Processing, Metals, Glass, Manufacturing, Chemical, Pharmaceutical,Water Treatment and other industries, including: project management, design andengineering, estimating, planning, supervision of fabrication, installation,commissioning, and post installation support.Essential FunctionsDevelop conceptual design, cost estimate, and project schedulePerform necessary design and engineering of new projects, equipment and systemsPrepare comprehensive technical proposalsDevelop and maintain process and flow diagrams, P&ID, assembly and detailed drawings, Bill of Materials, instrumentation lists, and equipment IOM ManualsDevelop purchase orders for equipment and fabrication servicesManage equipment fabrication and project budgetPerform factory and site checkout, QC, HAZOP, EMOC as requiredManage and physically participate in equipment and systems installation and startupProviding post-installation troubleshooting and technical supportRequired for All JobsPerforms other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standardsQUALIFICATIONSEducationBachelor's Degree in Mechanical, chemical, or electricalengineering is requiredWork Experience10+ years Experienced hands-on project manager withexcellent engineering, AutoCAD, technical writing, and communication skills isrequiredKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesUnderstand customer's specific application and process requirements Experienced hands-on project manager with excellent AutoCAD, technical writing, and communication skills. Industrial gases industry experience with a preference for experience in oxidizing, inerting, combustion processes, noble, and cryogenic gases, and high pressure applications. Understanding and familiarity with PLC/SCADA programming and electrical control systems helpful.Working knowledge of motors, blowers, pumps, and compressorsFamiliarity with NEC, CGA, ASM and NFPA standardsGood technical writing skills.
