Position Information Posting Number Stu 519P Working Title Math Tutor for High School Students Advertised Pay Rate $11/hour Position Status Regular Student Employment Department Student Emp Dept of Computer Sciences, Mathematics and Engineering Job Summary/Basic Function The Math tutor(s) will offer help and answer math questions for high school students registered in in-person on-campus tutorial sections during 3-5pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays when Shepherd University is open during Fall 2024 and/or Spring 2025. The program is partially sponsored by the S- STEM club and the CME S- STEM program.
Minimum Qualifications: Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher. Earned a grade of B or above for at least one of MATH 155/Math 254/ MATH 207/Math 307. Enrolled part‑time at Shepherd University Fall/Spring 2026-2027
