About the role
A leading law firm is seeking an experienced Temporary Proposal Manager to lead strategic proposal efforts that drive business growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a business development professional with a strong background in legal or professional services environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of compelling proposals, pitches, and client-facing business development materials. Manage proposal workflows and business development projects to support strategic growth initiatives. Develop persuasive messaging and proposal content that effectively communicates the firm's strengths and value proposition. Partner with attorneys and business development leaders to align pursuit strategies with client needs and business objectives. Lead complex proposal and pitch opportunities from strategy through submission. Oversee project management of cross-functional opportunities, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met. Implement scalable proposal processes, tools, templates, and best practices to improve efficiency and consistency. Support best practices and continuous improvement across proposal and business development initiatives.
Qualifications:
Significant experience managing proposals, pitches, pursuits, or business development initiatives within a law firm or professional services organization. Proven leadership experience managing teams and multiple concurrent projects. Exceptional writing, editing, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Strong strategic thinking and project management capabilities. Experience supporting high-value client pursuits, RFPs, and competitive proposal processes.
