Pay: $32$33/hour DOE
Schedule:
Monday Thursday | 6:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m. (OT Friday & Saturday 6:00 a.m. 2:15 p.m. as needed)

Have Requirements:
5+ years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment Ability to pass weld tests:6" Sch 80 6G GTAW (TIG) root/hot pass + SMAW fill/cap 3G FCAW 1/2" plate Experience with FCAW (Flux Core) and SMAW (Stick) required Experience with GTAW (TIG) and/or SAW (Submerged Arc) preferred Ability to weld in all positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead)Ability to pass X-ray and other non-destructive testing (NDT)Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding procedures Proficient with carbon arc gouging and cutting torch Experience working with carbon, stainless, chrome, and nickel alloys Class B Welder (ASME Pressure Vessel / Boiler Fabrication)
Position Summary:
Perform welding on ASME code pressure vessels and boiler components Work with a variety of materials in a heavy fabrication environment Ensure all welds meet strict quality, safety, and code requirements Support production of waste heat recovery and process equipment Class B Welder (ASME Pressure Vessel / Boiler Fabrication)
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform FCAW, SMAW, and GTAW welding as required Weld in multiple positions including overhead, vertical, and horizontal Read and follow blueprints, weld procedures, and shop drawings Use carbon arc gouging and cutting torch for prep and repair work Inspect welds to ensure compliance with ASME and company standards Work with ferrous and non-ferrous materials Maintain a clean and safe work environment Support additional shop labor tasks as needed Meet production schedules and quality expectations Class B Welder (ASME Pressure Vessel / Boiler Fabrication)
Additional Qualifications:

Repair or replace defective pressure vessel parts, such as safety valves or regulators, using torches, jacks, caulking hammers, power saws, threading dies, welding equipment, or metalworking machinery. Locate and mark reference points for columns or plates on boiler foundations, following blueprints and using straightedges, squares, transits, or measuring instruments. Bolt or arc weld pressure vessel structures and parts together, using wrenches or welding equipment. Position, align, and secure structural parts or related assemblies to boiler frames, tanks, or vats of pressure vessels, following blueprints. Shape or fabricate parts, such as stacks, uptakes, or chutes, to adapt pressure vessels, heat exchangers, or piping to premises, using heavy-metalworking machines such as brakes, rolls, or drill presses. Assemble large vessels in an on-site fabrication shop prior to installation to ensure proper fit. Lay out plate, sheet steel, or other heavy metal and locate and mark bending and cutting lines, using protractors, compasses, and drawing instruments or templates. Examine boilers, pressure vessels, tanks, or vats to locate defects, such as leaks, weak spots, or defective sections, so that they can be repaired. Shape seams, joints, or irregular edges of pressure vessel sections or structural parts to attain specified fit of parts, using cutting torches, hammers, files, or metalworking machines. Inspect assembled vessels or individual components, such as tubes, fittings, valves, controls, or auxiliary mechanisms, to locate any defects. Straighten or reshape bent pressure vessel plates or structure parts, using hammers, jacks, or torches. Bell, bead with power hammers, or weld pressure vessel tube ends to ensure leakproof joints. Clean pressure vessel equipment, using scrapers, wire brushes, and cleaning solvents.
