Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager - (Midwest Region) to lead our sales team in achieving ambitious growth targets for the US Northeast territory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing key OEM and equipment accounts, and driving revenue growth across the region. This role requires a proven leader with experience in the MEWP or heavy equipment space and the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing sales team. Key Responsibilities of a Regional Sales Manager: Relationship Building: Establish and strengthen trust-based relationships with decision makers. Customer Needs Analysis: Understand clients’ equipment requirements, operational challenges, and market trends to recommend tailored solutions. Account Planning: Develop strategic account plans to grow business within existing and new clients, identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and fleet expansion. Proactive Solution Provision: Anticipate client needs, presenting customized MEWP and equipment solutions that align with their operational goals and safety standards. Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with key customers, ensuring favorable and mutually beneficial agreements. Customer Satisfaction Management: Monitor client satisfaction and proactively resolve any issues to maintain long-term partnerships. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal teams—including sales, marketing, product development, and aftersales to ensure seamless delivery and client success. Reporting and Analysis: Track KPIs related to equipment sales and client accounts, provide regular sales performance updates, and identify areas for growth.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proven sales experience with a strong record in managing OEM accounts and equipment portfolios. Experience in the MEWP, construction, or industrial equipment industry is required. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strategic client relationships. Strong analytical skills to identify client needs and market opportunities. Strategic thinker capable of developing and executing effective account plans. Skilled negotiator with experience closing high-value OEM or rental agreements. In-depth knowledge of the MEWP or heavy equipment market and competitive landscape. Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM systems. Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience. Willingness to travel 50–75% of the time. Remote work flexibility. Reports to Director of Sales.
