About the role

We are seeking a scientifically trained, organized, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Scientific Applications Specialist. This role is ideal for a scientist interested in transitioning from primarily bench-based work into a collaborative, customer-facing position focused on scientific support, customer engagement, and commercial operations.
Primary Responsibilities: Scientific & Customer Support Provide technical and scientific support to researchers using primary cells and cell culture media through email, phone, and research procurement platforms. Assist customers with cell culture troubleshooting, experimental questions, and product selection. Communicate technical information clearly to both scientific and non-technical audiences. Maintain communication with customers to identify research trends, user needs, and opportunities for product improvement. Sales, Marketing & Commercial Operations Support sales and marketing activities including digital content, website updates, social media initiatives, CRM organization, and scientific conference/trade show coordination. Collaborate with scientific, sales, marketing, and operations team members to support customer outreach and company growth. Act as the commercial liaison to the laboratory team by monitoring inventory levels and coordinating production planning.
Desired Qualifications: M.S. or Ph. D. in life sciences or a related scientific discipline. Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture; experience with primary cells is strongly preferred. Comfortable discussing cell culture workflows, experimental design, and technical troubleshooting with research scientists. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general digital communication tools. Familiarity with CRM systems, databases, or website/content management tools is a plus. Prior experience with primary cells, stem cells, exosomes, or related cell biology fields is advantageous. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing responsibilities independently while collaborating effectively across scientific and operational teams.

Before you apply

Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.

Your profile is current

It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.

Two examples you can talk through

Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.

A number in mind

What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.

Your notice period

Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.

Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
