About the role
I’m recruiting for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join an established automation team within a fintech company. Remote, permanent role with excellent compensation, annual bonus, and health benefits. The two most important requirements are deep, hands-on experience with Ansible and Terraform, plus an earlier background managing Linux or Windows servers. The ideal candidate started as a Systems or Infrastructure engineer, gained strong experience managing actual server environments, and later moved into advanced infrastructure automation. This is not a CI/CD-focused Dev Ops role or a cloud-only position. The company needs someone who understands the infrastructure underneath the automation and can personally build, maintain, and troubleshoot it. What they’re looking for: Advanced, hands-on experience with both Ansible and Terraform Previous experience as a Linux or Windows Systems Engineer Experience managing on-premises, virtualized, or physical server environments Experience automating infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments Ability to write and maintain Terraform modules, Ansible playbooks, and reusable rolesA deep understanding of server provisioning, configuration, patching, and lifecycle management The technical depth to make architect-level decisions while remaining highly hands-on Interviewing Now! Before you apply
Applying takes about a minute. These four things decide how fast it moves after that.
Your profile is current
It's what we read first. Occupations, seniority and locations matter more than a long history.
Two examples you can talk through
Not a portfolio — just two pieces of work where you can explain the decisions and what you'd change.
A number in mind
What you're on now and what would make you move. We negotiate better when we know both.
Your notice period
Employers plan around it, and it's the question that stalls offers most often.
Once you apply, someone reads it and calls you before anything reaches the employer — usually within two working days.
