Fire Technician

Responsibilities: Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on hood suppression systems, portable extinguishers, and emergency lights. Perform system testing in accordance with NFPA standards and fire codes to verify compliance and functionality Collaborate with clients to provide exceptional customer service during routine maintenance visits and troubleshooting appointments. Document all work performed through detailed inspection reports.

Requirements: Proven experience with inspections and maintenance of hood suppression systems (Buckeye, Ansul, Pyro-Chemical, Amarex, and Range-Guard)Strong knowledge of fire codes and regulations as well as NFPA standards related to hood suppression systems and portable extinguishers. Ability to read and interpret failed inspection reports or fire code violations to address deficiencies. Mechanical knowledge combined with experience using power tools, hand tools, and other field service equipment Understanding of building code compliance requirements for hood suppression systems and portable extinguishers. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients & internal team. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel for field service appointments Ability to use a ladder and lift heavy objects.
