About the role
Job Title Quality Power Solutions (QPS) has provided end-to-end mission critical power solutions since 2002, including expert design, installation, and maintenance of UPS systems and generators. QPS works with clients nationwide, focusing on service, delivery, consistent performance, and customer education on critical power. In 2020, QPS invested in a separate e-commerce channel under the brand, Critical Parts Warehouse (CPW), dedicated to resale of existing QPS parts and components, as well as dropship sales of new product lines. Principal Duties & Responsibilities, Essential Job Functions Assisting Field Service Technicians in daily job duties, both in shop and on jobsites including: Battery replacement and maintenance services Rigging and moving UPS units Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean working environment Provide support to Warehouse as needed. All other duties as needed or required.
Qualifications:
Experience with electronics or an electronic background a plus but not required. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and multitask. Commitment to providing consistent and quality customer service. Proficient with Microsoft Office software and ability to learn additional business applications. Must be a team player who is committed to success having a positive attitude and strong work ethic. Must be able to travel, possess a valid U.S. driver's license. Must be able to pass a drug test, DOT physical, and background check upon hire. Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds as required on a continual basis. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment background check, drug screening, and Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination, as required for the position.
