About the role
Managing a diverse caseload from inception through resolution, the full-time Pennsylvania Licensed Associate Attorney in Workers' Compensation will provide strategic legal counsel and representation in court, arbitrations, and depositions while meeting a 1,950-hour annual billable requirement.
Key responsibilities:
Conduct file reviews and legal analysis of claims and causes of action
Perform extensive legal research and draft substantial briefs, memos, and pleadings
Regularly represent clients in court, at arbitrations, and in depositionsRequired qualifications: J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania; additional bar admissions are a plus
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the practice group
Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Experience with administrative proceedings, depositions, and mediations
