Role Description:
The Part-Time Tech Assistant role at Tennis CT is an on-site and remote position based in South Norwalk, CT. This role supports day-to-day technology needs, including troubleshooting basic hardware and software issues, assisting with device setup, and ensuring equipment in courts, offices, and common areas is functioning properly. The Tech Assistant helps staff and visitors with technical questions, supports the use of booking and scheduling systems, and assists with maintaining accurate records of equipment and service requests. This part-time role requires consistent on-site presence during scheduled shifts and collaboration with management and coaching staff to keep operations running smoothly.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong Technical Assistance and Technical Support skills to resolve routine issues with hardware, software, and facility systems. Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Communication skills to assist staff and visitors in a clear, respectful, and helpful manner. Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to diagnose problems, identify patterns, and prioritize solutions effectively. Basic knowledge of computers, mobile devices, and networking fundamentals is beneficial. Ability to work on-site in South Norwalk, CT, manage multiple tasks, and maintain organized documentation of support activities. Prior experience in a help desk, tech support, or similar role is preferred; interest in sports or recreation environments is a plus.
