About the role
We’re supporting a confidential search for an experienced Sales Manager to join a well-established organization within the US road transportation 3PL sector. This is an opportunity for a commercially minded sales professional who enjoys winning new business, building long-term customer relationships, and working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The role:
In this position, you will be responsible for driving new business activity, developing prospect pipelines, and converting opportunities into long-term customer relationships. You’ll work closely with internal teams to support growth, manage sales activity, and help increase revenue from new accounts.
Key responsibilities:
Identify and engage prospective customers Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline Lead sales conversations, proposals, presentations, and follow-up activity Convert prospects into new business and grow account value over time Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support customer growth Maintain a high standard of professionalism and service throughout the sales process
About you:
We’re looking for someone with: At least 3 years’ experience in asset-based 3PL salesA background in Dry Van, Reefer, Flatbed, and/or LTL freight Strong communication and relationship-building skillsA proven ability to work independently and manage competing prioritiesA proactive, resilient, and self-motivated approach Strong problem-solving ability Good commercial awareness and confidence engaging new customers Strong computer and technology skillsA Bachelor’s degree What’s on offer This is a strong opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their sales career, with the chance to join a business that supports development, performance, and long-term progression.
