About the role
SENIOR AP PROCESSORJOB SUMMARYKey member of the Accounts Payable department. Role will be responsible for executing end ofday and payment runs. Role isresponsible for processing assigned vendors, rental file vendors and wirevendors. Role handles manual checkrequests as well as manual expense reports. Role is assigned large uploads intothe ERP to process.Essential FunctionsProcess End of Day Process and all related reportsProcess Invoices for both Non-Purchase Orders and PurchaseOrders, as assignedProcess Duplicate Invoice Review during end of dayProcess Wire Payment Vendors and work with GL forreconciliation of process completeness monthly.Process Rent Vendors and compile support for ControllerProcess Payment Runs and all related reports as well asovernight requestsResearch issues with Vendors including statement reviewMail out checks and remittances to Vendors for payment, asneededSend invoices to locations for approval, research, etc.Contact Vendors for updated W-9's and address informationfor1099 processing, as requestedFinancial Annual Audit tasks as neededPull invoices when questions ariseSpecial Projects as assignedProcess invoices in all systems - Tims, Kofax and OnbaseBack up Reception for Phone Coverage, as neededWork assigned vendors from the inquiry mailbox.Work vendor phone line (including voicemail) on assigneddaysProcess file uploads into ERP as assignedBackup for Utility accountant, tasks as assignedProcess Manual Expense ReporSort and Distribute Mail occasionallyBack up Reception for Phone Coverage, as requestedRequired for All JobsPerforms other duties as assignedComplies with all policies and standardsQUALIFICATIONSEducationAssociates degree is preferredBachelor's degree is preferredWork ExperienceExperience1-3 years Strong customer service, Excel and Word Softwareexperience. Required.4-6 years' Experiencein all aspects of Accounts Payable with companies that have high volume oftransactions.
