About the role
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Poway, California Kelton Company is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our growing team in Poway, California. This is an opportunity to work with a clinically owned and clinically operated ABA company that values quality care, strong clinical guidance, and meaningful relationships with clients and staff. As an RBT, you will provide direct one-to-one ABA services to children and adolescents in home, school, and/or community settings under the supervision of a BCBA. You will implement individualized treatment plans, collect accurate session data, support skill acquisition programs, and use behavior intervention strategies with consistency and professionalism. Because we are a small team, each staff member plays an important role in the success of our clients and our organization. We are looking for someone who is collaborative, communicative, and invested in providing high-quality ABA services in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct ABA therapy services to clients according to individualized treatment plans
- Implement skill-building and behavior-reduction programs designed by the supervising BCBACollect and record accurate session data
- Communicate professionally with caregivers and supervisors regarding client progress and session updates
- Maintain timely and accurate session notes and documentation
- Participate in training, supervision, and team collaboration as assigned
- Follow all ethical, professional, and safety standards related to ABA service delivery
Ideal Candidate:
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
- Experience working with children with autism or related developmental needs preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while following clinical guidance
- Dependable, organized, and professional
- Passion for helping children and families through evidence-based care
