EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS NECESSARY: Live, work, and grow your career on the coast. WWAY, the ABC, CBS, and CW affiliate serving southeastern North Carolina, is seeking a News Producer to join our team. This is not just a job for someone looking to stack a show. We are looking for a show doctor who can craft engaging, fast-paced newscasts that keep viewers informed and engaged. The ideal candidate will: Responsibilities Build well-paced, dynamic newscasts Write compelling teases that keep audiences tuned in Edit video to ensure high-quality, visually engaging content Contribute to digital platforms, including the WWAY website and social media Utilize strong storytelling and understanding of AP Style for writing Be able to stay ahead of breaking news and developing stories
Qualifications: We''re looking for someone who wants to be a journalist, and not just someone who wants to work in TV. Experience with ENPS and Edius is a plus
