About the role
YJM Apparel is looking for an experienced Production Coordinator to join our growing team. We are seeking someone highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive with a strong background in apparel production and supply chain coordination. This role is critical in managing timelines, communicating with vendors and factories, tracking production status, and ensuring products are delivered accurately and on schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily production activities from development through final delivery
- Communicate with factories, vendors, freight forwarders, and internal teams
- Track production timelines, WIP reports, approvals, and shipment schedules
- Maintain and update production calendars and purchase orders
- Monitor inventory, costing, and delivery deadlines
- Ensure accuracy across tech packs, BOMs, labeling, and production documentation
- Troubleshoot production issues and proactively identify solutions
- Generate and maintain reports using Excel and internal systems
- Qualifications4–5 years of apparel production experience required
- Strong understanding of apparel manufacturing and production workflows
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting, spreadsheets)
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through
- Experience working directly with overseas factories and vendors preferred
- PreferredExperience in contemporary, streetwear, or licensed apparel
- Familiarity with ERPStrong knowledge of garment construction and production timelines
