About the role

Job TitleThe candidate selected for this position will: Be responsible for training the staff, researching appropriate asset class structures, developing implementation plans, ensuring investment goals are met, understanding and measuring risk in the portfolios. Oversee comprehensive investment activities and projects in the following areas: investment policy and strategy, asset allocation, asset/liability studies, investment manager selection, investment manager review and coordination, performance reporting, and securities lending. Plan, assign, and adjust work assignments; ensure implementation of the goals and objectives for the Department and division; evaluate work performance; make decisions on work problems presented by subordinates; and review operations continually to increase efficiency and productivity. Present formal and informal briefings to technical, non-technical and executive audiences, prepare memos and communication to PBGC's Board of Directors, and develop technical analyses for Advisory Committee meetings as required.
