Role Description: This full-time, on-site CNC Machinist role is based in Brighton, CO. The CNC Machinist will set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering drawings and specifications. Daily responsibilities include selecting appropriate tooling, performing machine adjustments, loading and unloading materials, and inspecting parts throughout the production process to ensure quality and accuracy. The role involves interpreting blueprints, maintaining equipment in safe working condition, documenting production activities, and collaborating with supervisors and team members to meet schedule and performance targets. The CNC Machinist is expected to follow all safety protocols, support continuous improvement efforts, and help maintain a clean, organized work area.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong Machine Operation skills, including setting up, programming, running, and troubleshooting CNC machinery. Candidates should possess Machining and Milling skills for producing precision components to tight tolerances. Candidates should possess Quality Control skills, including measurement, inspection, and documentation of parts. Candidates should possess general Machinery knowledge, including basic maintenance and safe equipment handling. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions. Experience with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and basic shop math. Commitment to safety, reliability, and consistent production quality in a manufacturing environment. Previous CNC machining experience in a production or job-shop setting; vocational training or apprenticeship is beneficial. Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate weights, and work in an industrial environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
