Job Description: The Inside AE is responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing new business opportunities, as well as partnering with Client Success Managers to support existing customer relationships and uncover growth opportunities within an established customer base. This role requires working closely with the Manager of Inside Sales while collaborating with Marketing and Revenue Operations to develop and execute winning strategies throughout the entire sales cycle.
Key Responsibilities: Prospect and Generate Leads: Proactively reaching out to new contacts within our existing client base by using sales enablement tools to generate/uncover new business opportunities efficiently using phone calls, emails, and social media channels. Relationship Management: Partnering with CSMs to build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers. Working together with CSMs to uncover growth opportunities and develop detailed account-based plans using a consultative approach. Qualify Opportunities: Identifying a client or prospect’s pain points to develop and apply effective sales strategies. Sales Presentation: Leveraging virtual presentation tools to effectively communicate how our products/services address client- and/or prospect-identified pain points. Demonstrate the products like a practitioner to clearly convey their value proposition. Manage Sales Cycle and Pipeline: Managing an active pipeline of sales opportunities through a complete sales cycle from prospecting to closing. Sales Reporting: Maintaining accurate records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and forecasting sales performance to Manager of Inside Sales. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of products/services and enhance overall customer satisfaction. Product Knowledge: Stay informed about industry trends, market activities, and competitor offerings to provide insightful feedback and recommendations.
Requirements: Growth mindset and inclination toward problem solving. High level of self-motivation and entrepreneurial spirit (e.g., “Hunter Mentality”).Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability and willingness to collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, QA, etc.).Proficiency with technology such as CRM software (e.g., Hub Spot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) and other enablement tools (e.g., Zoom Workplace, Zoom Info, Seismic, Linked In Sales Navigator, Allego).Willingness and desire to learn, improve, and develop personally and professionally. Preferred Bachelor’s degree. Experience in sales, customer success, account management, or similar client-facing role. Exposure to quotas and sales targets; demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue goals. Experience leveraging presentation tools such as Zoom or MS Teams for live product demonstration to clients and prospects. Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques. Understanding of the financial services or SaaS industry.
