This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced laboratory professional with a strong background in blood banking and progressive leadership experience. Position Highlights Permanent, direct-hire opportunity Located in downtown Chicago (60601)Relocation assistance available Leadership role with responsibility for blood bank operations and staff Opportunity to join an established healthcare organization Requirements Bachelor s degree requiredMT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) certification requiredSBB preferred, but not required Progressive leadership/management experience within a blood bank Strong knowledge of blood banking and immunohematology Demonstrated ability to lead, develop, and support laboratory staff Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation in blood banking along with progressively increasing leadership responsibilities and the ability to effectively manage day-to-day operations, staff, quality, and regulatory requirements.
