About the role
We're looking for a detail-oriented Billing Clerk to support project financial activities by tracking costs, assisting with customer billing, and ensuring project information is accurate and up to date.
What You'll Do:
Track and maintain project cost information and financial records. Prepare and update project cost reports, billing summaries, and financial tracking tools. Assist with customer invoicing and ensure billing information is accurate and complete. Partner with Accounting to ensure project expenses are coded and recorded correctly. Monitor project budgets, materials, and expenses to support accurate cost tracking. Verify material purchases and shipments are properly assigned to project budgets. Provide billing forecasts and project financial information to project teams as needed. Identify and help resolve billing discrepancies and reporting issues. Maintain organized project documentation, databases, and tracking systems. Build strong working relationships with internal teams, vendors, and customers.
What We're Looking For:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Experience with billing, invoicing, project accounting, or cost tracking. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. About Marking Services, Inc.
