We're hiring a Laser Turret Operator in Sturtevant, WI for a growing manufacturing team that values quality, precision, and technical expertise. Schedule • Monday-Friday• 2:30 PM - 10:30 PMCompensation • $22-$27/hour• Compensation is flexible and based on experience What You'll Do As a Laser Turret Operator, you'll be responsible for setting up and operating turret/laser equipment to cut metal components while ensuring quality and production standards are met.
Key responsibilities include:
Set up and operate laser/turret machinery Load and unload raw materials using lifts, overhead cranes, and forklifts Utilize Inspec Vision scanners for quality verification Assemble, disassemble, and sharpen turret tooling Perform nozzle alignment, lens cleaning, height calibration, and focus adjustments Complete laser/punch zero coupon procedures before each shift Set up and operate automated sheet loaders Verify product quality and complete process verification in ERP systems Support additional fabrication operations including deburring, hardware insertion, press brake operations, and part separation as needed
What We're Looking For:
High School Diploma or equivalent 6-12 months of experience setting up and operating laser/turret equipment OR skilled CNC machining experience with setup responsibilities Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, pin gauges, and height gauges Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality inspections This is a great opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing professional looking to grow their skills in a highly technical production environment.
