About the role

Down Decor, established in 1994, is a Cincinnati based manufacturing company has an immediateopening for a Fractional Controller. The Fractional Controller will support thecompany’s accounting and financial reporting activities. This position will be responsible formaintaining accurate financial records, assisting with monthly and year-end closings, monitoringcash flow, and helping management understand the company’s financial performance.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly financial statements, including income statement, balance sheet, andcash-flow reporting. Manage and review general ledger activity and account reconciliations. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing. Help prepare budgets, forecasts, and budget-to-actual variance reports. Monitor cash balances, working capital, and banking activity. Maintain fixed-asset records and depreciation schedules. Using existing reports in Netsuite, to review inventory and report mfg. cost analysis. Coordinate information needed for tax filings, audits, and outside CFO & CPA'sMaintain appropriate accounting procedures and internal controls.
Qualifications: Experience with Excel is expected. Manufacturing, distribution, inventory, or cost-accounting experience is a plus. Company uses Netsuite at their ERP.
