About the role

Senior Solution Engineer - North America (Remote) As our Senior Solution Engineer for North America, you’ll partner with our Sales team to drive strategic growth across the US and Canada. You own the technical win - combining deep Microsoft 365 expertise with consultative discovery, compelling storytelling, and practical solution design. You help customers envision the future of their digital workplace, translate business needs into clear architectures, and make Powell’s value tangible to IT, Communications, HR, Security, and executive stakeholders.
Your key responsibilities:
  • Lead consultative discovery workshops, tailored demos, and solution design sessions
  • Support strategic enterprise deals, including RFP responses, solution scoping, and technical bid defenses
  • Enable and grow the partner ecosystem through webinars, events, and technical training
  • Create and maintain technical assets (demo environments, reference architectures, guides)
  • Collect field feedback and collaborate with Product & R&D to improve the product
  • Participate in US digital workplace communities (SharePoint, Copilot, M365) to build Powell’s visibility
  • Contribute to customer and partner satisfaction throughout the full sales cycle
Remote: preferably Eastern or Central time zones Occasional travel across the US & Canada + annual SKO in Paris
Technical skills: Strong knowledge of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (SharePoint Online, Teams, Exchange Online, OneDrive) Hands-on experience configuring and deploying solutions in M365 environments Understanding of cloud/SaaS fundamentals, Azure concepts, and security basics Familiarity with digital workplace governance, adoption, and change management Exposure to Microsoft Copilot, Power Automate, and M365 analytics is a plus Powell Software experience is a plus
Who you are: 10+ years in technical presales, solution engineering, or partner/customer enablement for enterprise SaaS, a strong technical storyteller - you turn demos into outcome-driven narratives Comfortable navigating complex enterprise buying committees (IT, HR, Legal, Procurement, execs) Curious, proactive, and a fast learner Creative problem-solver who builds trust with partners and customers Low-ego, high-accountability - you make the team better French language skills are a plus (especially for Quebec-based opportunities)
