About the role
- Own the payroll business and its financial outcomes as the directly responsible individual (DRI)
- Orient the business around LTV and ARPC growth, contributing to overall revenue growth
- Develop and execute the commercial strategy for customer acquisition and partnerships
- Manage monetization, pricing, and packaging strategies for new services
- Ensure gross-margin break-even on cost-to-serve while maintaining service quality
- Drive cross-functional execution of payroll initiatives across various departments
- Represent the business in leadership forums, grounding discussions in data and financial impact
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a business line or P&L ownership role
- Demonstrated experience as a co-founder, General Manager, or business owner responsible for revenue and growth
- Experience in SaaS, fintech, B2B services, or complex operational environments preferred
- High business and financial acumen with fluency in P&L, unit economics, and pricing strategies
- Proven ability to set and execute commercial strategy across functions
- Strong analytical skills with familiarity in data tools like Excel and SQLRecord of leading cross-functional initiatives through influence rather than direct authority
