What You’ll Be Doing:
- Prepare detailed estimates for commercial carpentry and interior-finish scopes
- Develop competitive bids and conceptual budgets
- Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents
- Complete material and labor takeoffs
- Coordinate with preconstruction leadership, project managers, and field teams
- Build relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients
- Maintain cost information and help improve estimating processes
- Support projects from early budgeting through award and construction
- What They’re Looking ForFive or more years of construction estimating experience
- Experience estimating commercial carpentry, architectural millwork, or interior-finish scopes
- Understanding of competitive bidding and conceptual budgeting
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience
- Collaborative mindset and the ability to build lasting industry relationships
