About the role
To support solar and storage project acquisitions, the full-time remote M&A Associate will lead financial analysis and modeling, prepare stakeholder materials, and coordinate diligence efforts while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
Conduct advanced financial modeling and valuation for solar and storage projects, ensuring accuracy for project assessment
Prepare internal and external materials, including investment committee memos and market summaries, for project stakeholders
Identify and evaluate acquisition opportunities by researching potential projects and analyzing market trends and risks
Required qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a quantitative field with relevant coursework or experience in renewable energy
2-4 years of experience in renewable energy, investment banking, project finance, or related fields
Strong understanding of project finance concepts and community solar policies
Experience with financial modeling for solar and storage assets, including discounted cash flow analysis
Practical experience using AI productivity tools, such as Microsoft Copilot, to enhance analysis and workflow efficiency
