Manufacturing Technician Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Reclamation Technicians for an electric motor repair and service company in Hutchinson, MN. In this role, you'll help disassemble, clean, inspect, and refurbish electric motors and generator components used in the wind energy industry while developing specialized mechanical skills through hands-on training. If you enjoy physical, hands-on work, working with tools, and learning technical processes in an industrial environment, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information! What You'll Do as a Reclamation Technician: Load and unload stator and rotor cores from burn-off ovens Strip burned windings from rotors and stators using tools and equipment Clean, inspect, and prepare motor cores for rewinding processes Perform core loss testing and identify potential defects Assist with motor disassembly and repair preparation activities Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas and equipment What You Need to Bring to the Reclamation Technician Role: Mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power tools Ability to perform physical work throughout the shift Comfortable working around heat, dust, grease, noise, and industrial equipment Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety Reliable transportation and consistent attendance in Hutchinson, MNManufacturing, construction, maintenance, automotive, fabrication, or similar hands-on experience preferred but not required Entry-level candidates with strong mechanical aptitude are encouraged to apply #WorkInHutchinsonWhy You'll Like Working with Doherty Staffing Solutions Enjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
