Setup and Breakdown Operator – LA County Vote Centers (Short‑Term Contract) We are hiring Setup and Breakdown Operators to support Los Angeles County Vote Centers for the upcoming election cycle. This is a short‑term, physically active contract role involving the setup and removal of voting equipment and materials. Assignments are scheduled throughout Los Angeles County, with efforts made to keep workers within 10 miles of their home when possible, though some days may require travel to multiple sites. Training Requirement (Mandatory) • 2 full days – Paid at $22.00/hour • Pass/Fail: Must pass training to be eligible for deployment Training Locations and Dates: Whittier, CA • 10/2 and 10/5 • 10/8 - 10/9 • 10/12 - 10/13 Santa Clarita, CA • 10/7 - 10/8 • 10/9 and 10/12 • 10/13 - 10/14 Deployment Dates: Setup Deployment • 10/21, 10/22, 10/23 (lighter workload) • 10/26, 10/27, 10/28, 10/29 (full days) Breakdown Deployment • 11/4, 11/5, 11/6 • 11/7, 11/9 (lighter workload) You do not need to be available for every date, but broader availability improves selection chances. Important: Deployment days are not guaranteed, and work availability varies by location and project need.
