Hydraulic & Pneumatic Systems Experience:
Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic components, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and related systems. Understanding of industrial fluid power systems and maintenance practices.
Powertrain, Conveyor & Fabrication Skills:
Knowledge of chains, gears, bearings, conveyors, and power transmission equipment.
Ability to fabricate, modify, or repair parts and tools when needed to keep equipment running.
Highly Preferred: Previous corrugated manufacturing, paper mill, or industrial production maintenance experience.
Bonus Skills: Boiler experience, forklift operation, and rigging experience.
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanic Technician to join a maintenance team supporting a large corrugated manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining corrugator equipment and supporting systems to ensure safe and efficient production. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, experience working with industrial equipment, and the ability to support a variety of machinery rather than specializing in a single area. Candidates from paper mills, corrugated facilities, manufacturing plants, or other industrial maintenance environments are highly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and support systems
- Perform preventive maintenance (PMs) and corrective maintenance activities
- Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Diagnose and repair conveyor, chain, gear, bearing, and power transmission equipment
- Fabricate or modify tools, machine parts, and components as needed
- Support equipment reliability and minimize production downtime
- Operate forklifts and assist with occasional rigging activities
- Perform maintenance across multiple machine types and production systems
- Follow all safety, quality, and maintenance procedures

Current Hiring NeedThe primary need is on 2nd and 3rd shifts, with the current opening focused on 3rd shift. Shift assignment may vary based on business needs and staffing requirements.
