POSITION OVERVIEW: This role sits within the enterprise Software Asset Management and IT operations department, reporting directly to the IT Asset Management Director, and is designed to solve critical software compliance exposure, visibility gaps, and license optimization bottlenecks for the client. The analyst will lead advanced Flexera data analysis, license reconciliation, and publisher licensing interpretation to ensure comprehensive asset governance and audit readiness.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform entitlement, contract, and purchase data management activities including review of software contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and vendor licensing documentation
  • Use Flexera and related SAM tools to analyze software entitlement, inventory, installation, consumption, and usage data via exports, reports, and APIs
  • Interpret complex publisher-specific licensing models across major vendors like Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle, IBM, and VMware and apply them to SAM configurations
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security, and integration teams to support data ingestion, ETL processes, and discovery coverage enhancement
  • Identify software compliance risks, entitlement gaps, data quality issues, and cost optimization opportunities while providing data-driven recommendationsBENEFITSMedical | Dental | Vision | 401(k)EEOC Compliance:
