A luxury residential construction firm in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a Director of Project Accounting to lead a growing accounting function supporting a portfolio of residential projects.Responsibilities:Oversee project accounting for a portfolio of residential construction projects, ensuring accuracy across job costing, billing, and reportingPartner closely with the CFO and Business Director of Operations to drive financial visibility across active projectsLead and develop an accounting team, ensuring strong controls and process disciplineManage month-end close, WIP schedules, and project profitability analysisRequirements:Prior experience in residential or commercial construction accountingBachelor's degree in Accounting required; Master's and/or CPA a strong plusFamiliarity with Sage Intacct a plusBenefits:3 weeks PTO, 7 holidays + 2 floating holidaysStrong medical, dental, and vision coverage (80% employer-covered)401(k) with match
