About the role
Our executive search firm is conducting a search for a manufacturer of ready-to-eat sous vide products. Local candidates only, please.
Position Overview:
The Procurement Manager is responsible for forecasting and sourcing raw materials, packaging, and supplies to support production, while managing suppliers, controlling costs, and contributing to sourcing strategy in collaboration with senior leadership.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Operations Management, or a related field required; an equivalent combination of education and directly related experience may be considered Five or more years of progressive procurement, purchasing, or supply chain experience, preferably within food manufacturing, meat processing, proteins, prepared foods, or packaging industries Experience purchasing raw proteins, food ingredients, packaging materials, and operational supplies in a manufacturing environment Strong financial acumen with experience analyzing material costs, purchase price variances, inventory valuation, margins, and cost reduction opportunities Experience with ERP systems Knowledge of protein commodity markets, agricultural supply chains, or food ingredient sourcing preferred Working knowledge of USDA regulations, GMPs, HACCP, SQF, or other food safety and quality systems preferred---About Bristol Associates, Inc. – Executive Search: Bristol Associates, Inc. is a boutique executive recruiting firm that specializes in highly focused, personalized searches in all verticals for the following industries: Casino Gaming, Facility and Concession, Food and Beverage, Healthcare, Hotel and Resort, Nonprofit, Restaurant, and Travel, Tourism, and Attraction.
