As a locum tenens physician, you'll work in a dynamic environment focusing on both low and high-risk pregnancies, with opportunities to perform OB ultrasounds and routine deliveries. The position features a weekday schedule, allowing for a balanced work-life experience. Key Details- Assignment Type: Locum Tenens- Setting: Hospital- Start Date: ASAP- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM- Patient Population: Adult- Location: Sierra Vista, AZ- Stipends: Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits- Weekly direct deposit- Malpractice insurance with tail coverage- Supportive credentialing assistance- Lodging and mileage reimbursement- Flexible scheduling Job Responsibilities- Manage routine and some complicated obstetric cases, including deliveries and surgical procedures- Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds and level I/II screenings- Ensure high-quality care for low-risk and some high-risk pregnancies- Conduct surgical gynecology procedures including laparoscopic and open surgeries Qualifications- Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology- Proficiency in OB ultrasound and routine delivery techniques - Ability to perform low forceps deliveries and handle C-sections Working Hours- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Skills- Expertise in both low-risk and high-risk pregnancy management- Proficiency in OB ultrasound and surgical gynecology- Strong decision-making skills for C-sections and handling complications such as abruptions and VBACs- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic healthcare environment
