Role Description: The Administrative Specialist is a part-time, remote role responsible for supporting day-to-day operational and administrative activities at Limb Lab. This role includes managing schedules and calendars, organizing digital records and documentation, and assisting with basic finance tasks such as invoice tracking and expense reporting. The Administrative Specialist will handle customer communications via phone, email, and online platforms, ensuring timely and courteous responses to inquiries. Additional responsibilities include preparing reports, supporting internal communication among team members, and coordinating with clinical and creative staff to keep workflows running smoothly. The role requires consistent attention to detail, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients, families, and internal teams. Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to manage data, prepare basic reports, and support problem-solving in daily operations. Candidates should possess Administrative Assistance skills, including scheduling, document management, and coordination of remote workflows. Candidates should possess foundational Finance skills, such as handling invoices, monitoring expenses, and supporting basic billing processes. Proficiency with office software (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, email, and online collaboration tools).Strong organizational skills, accuracy, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a remote setting. Demonstrated reliability, discretion with confidential information, and commitment to inclusive, patient-centered service. Previous experience in healthcare, rehabilitation, or a patient-facing environment is beneficial but not required.
