About the role
Driving revenue across multiple DOD customers, the full-time DOD Account Executive will focus on building new partnerships and developing existing ones while managing the sales process and customer relationships in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities
Develop business with DOD customers supporting applications like Splunk, AI/ML, and Edge Computing
Prospect and penetrate large accounts, reaching decision-makers to close business
Manage customer relationships from initial meetings through proof of concept and after-sale support to expand the VAST Data footprint
Required qualifications
Minimum of 10 years of direct DOD sales experience
Consistent track record of exceeding quota with large DOD customers
History of developing customers with minimal resources
Knowledge of the storage industry, specifically File and Object Storage and Enterprise Computing architectures
Proficient with Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office
