USED CAR MANAGER - CAPITOL CHEVROLET (AUSTIN, TX) Capitol Chevrolet is looking for a high-energy, results-driven Used Car Manager to lead our pre-owned department and drive both volume and profitability. We are one of the top-performing Chevrolet dealerships in Texas, and we need a leader who can bring intensity, structure, and a strong financial mindset to our operation.
What We're Looking For:
We are seeking a proven automotive professional with: Minimum 5+ years of Finance Manager experienceMinimum 5+ years of Used Car Manager experienceStrong understanding of deal structure, front-end gross, and backend opportunitiesAbility to appraise vehicles accurately and aggressivelyProven track record of driving volume while maintaining grossExperience managing inventory, pricing strategy, and turn rate Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a strong plusKey ResponsibilitiesManage and grow the used vehicle inventory and acquisition strategyDrive front-end gross and total PVR performanceWork closely with the desk and sales team to structure deals and maximize profitabilityOversee vehicle appraisals and ensure consistency in evaluation Analyze market trends and adjust pricing using tools and real-time data Lead and develop the sales team with a focus on urgency, accountability, and executionEnsure strong inventory turn and aged unit managementCollaborate with Finance to maximize backend performance What We OfferCompetitive compensation with high earning potentialOpportunity to work at a high-volume, fast-paced dealershipStrong leadership team and growth opportunity within the organization Full benefits package (health, dental, vision, 401k, etc.) You bring energy, discipline, and a mindset focused on both volume and gross.
